Brief Bank
The San Antonio and El Paso offices maintain a bank of every brief filed by the organization in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. The brief bank is indexed by the appellate section in San Antonio; the index categorizes the issues raised in the briefs by subject matter, and indicates whether a petition for writ of certiorari was filed in the case. The 2007 Brief Bank Index, a large (currently 1.12 MB) file in pdf format, indexes briefs since 1993. Older briefs are indexed in the 1998 Brief Bank Index. The indexes may be downloaded and viewed in Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher. The table of contents to the index is accessed by selecting the navigation pane button on your Adobe Reader command bar.
